We’ve all seen those amazing layouts of three-dimensional villages, castles, and dungeons on the internet. And we all thought how cool it would be to actually have one; if only we had an extra living room, thousands of dollars, time, and talent to spare.
Well good news! Today I’ll show you how to make a virtual medieval village with just four houses. As regular readers may have noticed, I shifted the photography in the Tales of the Crimson Empire (TotCE) stories from deliberately game-like (see First mission), to a more dimensional stage look (see The Oddity and the Oddball). In the upcoming TotCE story Love and Faith, the opening begins with a thrilling rooftop chase. How to convey that with only four rooftops? Let’s find those four houses to start with.
So here they are, coated with a white primer.
