My seventh entry for the Inktober Challenge is the Elvin Druid—Erith. Trying to go a little less heavy on the inks. I think I'm getting some of my old habits back. Using the old cubes and spheres tricks to align proportions. I included some step by step drawings below. I think my pencil roughs look better than my finished art. An additional challenge I set for my self is to finish a drawing in less than 30 minuets and post it regardless of how it looks. It forces me not to overthink things. The moral of this exercise is to keep practicing. In just seven sketches, I feel like a lot of my old habits are returning. I definitely need more practice, but am grateful that I took up this challenge. I want to go back to a more cartoony feel in my drawings. I will post occasionally with updates of my sketches as I progress. If anyone else wants to join in, please do. I will be happy to showcase any and all art for Inktober. As always, your comments and critiques are welcome. #Inktober #Inktober2019. My sixth entry for the Inktober Challenge is the klepto Dwarf Rogue—Dimva. Trying to go a little less heavy on the inks. I am doing these in my spare time at work, so using simple pens and markers. I should really use a brush or various pen widths. I included some step by step drawings below.
