Who Are You?
Name/Race/Class:
Ffion Tanwen, Dragonborn Cleric
Where are you from (a large Kingdom/small village)?
A small village, built from stone, in the valley of the Tryfan mountains. Name: Wohyth
Social Class (Royalty/merchant/farmer/pauper):
My family has owned the town apothecary for hundreds of years. Our village does not exchange coin but rather barters and trades for goods and services. Through this economy we do not recognize distinct social classes.
Where did you get your training/equipment:
My bloodline; I have been gifted the skills and ancient wisdom passed down through generations of healers.
Appearance (Handsome/beautiful/average/ugly):
I am an emerald-scaled, golden- eyed Dragonborn, much like my grandmother. This combination, although not terribly common, is considered average-looking in my village. It is my ruby-scaled, snowy-eyed mother and sister who are regarded as the beauties of the family.
Weapons (Pristine/tarnished/well used):
The quarterstaff I carry has been handed down through the females in my family for the past century. She was carved from a branch of the sacred oak tree, Derwyn, in the heart of Wohyth. We refer to her as Deri; she strengthens our connection to the powers of Melora, both for battle and healing.
Clothes (Pristine/fancy/exotic/average/well worn):
My leather armor and linen clothing is of average condition and wear. Some linens are stained with blood from wounded patients, yet remain wearable for the time being.
Why Are You Here?
When Chronos’ undead soldiers made their way into Wohyth, they brought unknown diseases which made many of our people, including my parents, fall ill. Despite years of tinkering with our known cures and praying to the gods, I have yet to find a cure. So with heavy heart, I have left Wohyth in search of a new cure, leaving my parents (and my village) in the care of my siblings.
Were you sent because you are the (best/worst):
Out of my sisters and brothers, I am the most skilled alchemist and potion maker. This is why I have decided to go out in search of the new cure.
Did you (Volunteer/Take someone’s place/Just saw people gathering and thought you could get a free meal):
I volunteered.
Name a living loved one (Family/friend/lover? Race/class):
My brother Eurig, my most trusted confidant. He and I share the same emerald scales and golden eyes, though his are gentler than my own. Village folk seek him for cures for their worries more than cures for flesh and bone.
Name an enemy (Who/Why? Race/class):
I once had a dear friend, Abertha, who was taken from me by Chronos’ goons. She was once a fair-haired and free spirited half-elf,
though now has become a dark and monstrous soldier for the army of the undead. She is the one who infected my parents.
Name of a friend/family/loved one who died (How? Race/Class):
Abertha. She was once a ranger who led me on herb-finding expeditions before she was turned.
Racial hate (Humans/Orcs/Vampires/etc.)?
While I do not fight death, and see her as a welcome friend, fighting this strange illness in my village has made me turn cruel against the undead.
Religion/God you were brought up with/converted to:
My lineage is polytheistic, thus we pray to many of the gods for their respective strengths. My parents each emphasized different deities, with my mother favoring Melora and my father worshiping Pelor.
Religion/God you practice now:
I keep true to my polytheistic roots, though I pray most often to Melora and the Raven Queen.
How strong is your belief (Zealot/strong/average/weak/atheist)?
The faith is strong with this one. My duties as a healer would not be fulfilled without the divine wisdom of the gods.
